Michler & Brown, LLC

Michler & Brown LLC is an ecological restoration company dedicated to the removal of non-native plant species and the renewal of native habitats and ecosystems.    

Although consulting is a part of our work, most of what we do is down and dirty.  Our methods are myriad, and include everything from hand pulling weeds and mowing, to brush clearing and larger scale tree work (including stump treatments).  We also do seasonal spraying of a variety of invasive forbs and grasses throughout the growing season.  Every fall and spring we perform prescribed burns of woods, savannas and prairies ranging in size from someone's back yard to over 50 acres.  Also in the fall and spring we take a break from species control and engage in various forms of native planting, including seed, as well as mature plants and plugs.

Our job sites radiate from Madison, extending as far as Lapham Peak and Milwaukee in the East, Door County in the North, Dubuque in the West, and Janesville in the South.
